This allows E-Sys to use the vehicle order during the coding process.
4. Read the SVT
Next, read the current control-unit tree:
Read SVT (VCM)
Wait until the module list appears. Locate FEM_BODY in the SVT tree.
5. Select FEM_BODY
Click the main FEM_BODY ECU entry. Make sure you select the ECU itself—not the CAFD underneath it.

Right-click the FEM_BODY ECU and select:
Detect CAF for SWE
E-Sys will display the available CAFD files. Select the CAFD that matches the vehicle’s last i-level.

7. Confirm the CAFD
After selecting the correct CAFD, click OK. The CAFD should now appear under the FEM_BODY module.

8. Code the Module
Right-click the main FEM_BODY ECU entry again and select:
CODE / Encode
Do not right-click the CAFD underneath the module. The coding command must be started from the main ECU entry.
E-Sys will begin writing the coding data to the module. Do not disconnect the cable, switch off the ignition, or allow the vehicle voltage to fall during this process.
Why a Battery Charger Is Essential
FEM_BODY coding depends on stable electrical power. If voltage drops too low, the module may stop responding or become difficult to recover.
A reliable charger helps prevent:

Keep the charger connected until coding is completely finished and the vehicle has returned to a stable state.
